Children
We cater for the treatment of children from the age of 3, and are happy to
see them under the NHS until the age of 18.
It is also our firm belief that educating children in oral hygiene and
prevention will stand them in good stead throughout their life.
Prevention
Good oral hygiene is an integral part of dental success and forms the
foundation of any treatment in our practice. To this end we have two great
hygienists Dee and Nicky.
We consider them to be very important members of our team, they not only
clean the teeth but offer advice on oral hygiene techniques and a healthy diet.
Restoration
We provide all general dental treatment such as cosmetic white fillings,
crowns and bridges, root fillings and minor oral surgery.
Headaches, Joint and Muscle Pain
In some patients there is a mismatch in the way the teeth meet. This can
cause grinding of the teeth, which in turn can lead to other symptoms.
These symptoms of 'Occlusal Disease' can include headaches, facial pain,
neck pain, wearing of the teeth and breakdown of the gums.
In many cases we are able to treat these symptoms by using bite guards
and selective grinding of destructive contact points between the teeth.
The principles governing the way teeth bite together are vital when
constructing large fillings or crowns.
Dentures
We pride ourselves on our high quality dentures. Whatever your age
YOUR SMILE IS IMPORTANT TO US, we always strive to create a natural
appearance.
Gumshields
We can provide custom made gumshields in a range of funky colours and
designs.
